An area of low pressure across Wyoming will push into the western
Dakotas early Monday morning. Winds out of the south to southeast
will remain breezy. Gusts of 35 to around 40 mph over central South
Dakota will expand the rest of the listening area on Monday.

The area of low pressure will push across central South Dakota late Monday
afternoon and to eastern South Dakota Monday night into Tuesday
morning. While showers and thunderstorms will be possible during the
day Monday, the potential for strong to severe storms will develop
mid afternoon Monday west of the Missouri River and shift into
eastern South Dakota Monday evening before weakening and coming to an
end.

After lows near 60 degrees, temperatures will rise mainly into the
70s Monday afternoon. Low 80s can be expected west of the Missouri
River.
