Areas of blowing and drifting snow east of the James Valley will
diminish this evening as snow showers taper off and winds diminish. Surface
high pressure will settle into the region tonight into Thursday,
bringing cold temperatures and lighter winds. A warmup is anticipated
Friday through the weekend.

Lows tonight fall into the single digits above and below zero. Highs
on Thursday range from the lower teens across the east to the upper
20s west river.
