At 1125 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Spink Colony, or 16 miles southeast of Redfield, moving southeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Redfield, Tulare, Doland, Glendale Colony, Frankfort, Spink Colony, Hillside Colony, Clark Colony, Camrose Colony, Twin Lakes, Fordham Colony, Spottswood, and Carpenter. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
