CDT /9 PM MDT/ SUNDAY FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR
CENTRAL AND NORTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...

The National Weather Service in Aberdeen has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from 11 AM CDT /10 AM MDT/ to 10 PM CDT /9 PM MDT/ Sunday. The
Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

* AFFECTED AREA...In South Dakota, Corson, Dewey, Stanley, Jones
  and Lyman.

* WINDS...South 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 to 15 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become
  difficult to control or suppress.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
