High pressure will start to build over central and northeastern South Dakota today. This will lead to no precipitation development over the area today with slightly drier relative humidities, in the 50 percent over northeastern South Dakota and upper 30s to low 40 percent over central South Dakota this afternoon. Temperatures will also start to warm, getting into the upper 70s over northeastern South Dakota and upper 80s over central South Dakota by this afternoon. Another active pattern looks to start Wednesday through the end of the work week, with the potential for severe weather.
