A few rumbles of thunder can not be ruled out with the strongest showers. The precipitation will come to an end this evening, leaving dry but rather cool conditions in place heading into the weekend. Additionally, strong west to northwesterly wind gusts of 45 to 60 mph are expected today before diminishing overnight tonight. The next chance for precipitation is lining up across the region Sunday night into Monday.
