High pressure will keep conditions dry through Friday for central and northeast South Dakota and west central Minnesota. Southwest winds will turn gusty this afternoon reaching speeds of 25-35 mph this afternoon in some spots. A storm system organizing to our south the next couple days will spread rain chances north into our region on Saturday. Some locations across central and northeast South Dakota may pick up a tenth to a quarter of an inch of rainfall before it ends Sunday morning. Minimum relative humidity values will fall into a 25-35 percent range this afternoon for points along and west of the Missouri Valley.
