Increasing fire danger across the region today into Monday as westerly wind gusts increase to 25 to 35 mph this afternoon, and 40 to 60 mph on Monday. Both days, afternoon humidity is forecast to drop to between 20 and 30 percent, with the lowest readings from the James River westward into central South Dakota. A Red Flag Warning has been issued for this afternoon and Monday afternoon for central South Dakota into portions of northeast South Dakota.
