.DISCUSSION...

Seasonally mild and dry conditions are expected today, however a
plume of Canadian wildfire smoke will drift down into the region
through the course of the day. That smoke will persist into Monday
before departing. temperatures today will top out in the 70s and 80s
with afternoon humidity down around 35 to 60 percent.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture content of grasses,
and other dry organic material on the ground, indicate that the
probability of a fast moving fire is low.  Outdoor burning under
these conditions can usually be performed with reasonable safety
precautions, but should be monitored.


The outlook for Monday afternoon...The grassland fire danger index
will reach the low to moderate category.
