...Official end of the growing season...

Although not all areas have received a hard freeze as of October
14th, we have reached the climatological/statistical end of the
growing season for central, north central and northeast South
Dakota as well as west central Minnesota.

Therefore, the National Weather Service in Aberdeen will no longer
issue frost advisories and freeze warnings as of today, Tuesday,
October 14th. Headlines will resume when the growing season
begins next spring.
