This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota and
northeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms will affect portions of northeast east and
east-central South Dakota into early this evening. Hail up to quarter
size and winds to 60 mph are the main threats with any stronger
storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Near-surface smoke will move into the region by Wednesday morning,
potentially reducing visibility and creating poor air quality.
Additional smoke is possible on Thursday.

Spotter activation may be requested. Weather spotters are encouraged
to submit reports to the National Weather Service in Aberdeen. The
