This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota,
central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Morning storms are expected to remain sub-severe but will come with
a lightning threat.

Cant rule out a strong storm or two in far eastern SD/western MN this
evening (20% chance). Marginal (1 of 5) risk of severe weather with
hail and strong winds the primary threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Heat and humidity will be an issue Thursday and Friday. Heat index
values may approach 100 degrees in central SD and for portions of the
James valley Thursday.

The heat breaks late Friday with storms. Marginal risk of severe
weather (1 of 5) with hail/winds the main threat. Heavy rain will
also be a concern.
