This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota,
central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Snow will spread eastward across northern South Dakota this afternoon
and tonight, eventually ending Saturday morning. In general, 3 to 6
inches are forecast along and north of Highway 12, with lesser
amounts south of there. Patches of blowing and drifting snow are
expected as well, but widespread low visibility from blowing snow is
not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Arctic air will return to the region on Monday and linger into the
middle portion of next week. Wind chill values Monday night into
Tuesday morning are forecast to range from 25 below to 45 below zero.
