Snow will spread eastward across northern South Dakota this afternoon and tonight, eventually ending Saturday morning. In general, 3 to 6 inches are forecast along and north of Highway 12, with lesser amounts south of there. Patches of blowing and drifting snow are expected as well, but widespread low visibility from blowing snow is not expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Arctic air will return to the region on Monday and linger into the middle portion of next week.
