.DISCUSSION...Southerly winds will begin to pick up by late
morning and persist through the afternoon hours with gusts between
25-30 mph. Minimum relative humidity values will drop to around
30 percent during the afternoon hours as temperatures warm into
the mid 80s. A cold front will advance eastward out of central
South Dakota tonight and lead to the development of showers and
thunderstorms across eastern South Dakota, mainly after sunset.
Some of the thunderstorm activity could turn strong to severe
during the early overnight hours with locally damaging winds and
large hail being the primary threats.
