.DISCUSSION...

Showers and a few thunderstorms will shift northeast across parts of
the area this morning with more development expected during the
afternoon and evening hours as a cold front sweeps west to east
across the area. The combination and the precipitation and mostly
cloudy skies will maintain higher humidity values through the day.
Minimum relative humidity values will remain around 60 percent this
afternoon. South to southeast breezes are expected today before
turning west to southwest across central South Dakota later this
afternoon and this evening and overnight across northeast South
Dakota and west central Minnesota.

On Friday, a drier air mass takes hold on west to southwest breezes.
With some sunshine expected, temperatures will warm into the low to
mid 60s. This will drive minimum relative humidity values down to
around 40 percent across parts of central South Dakota.
