.DISCUSSION...

A warm front will cause winds to shift from easterly to southerly
today. Hot and humid conditions are expected across north central
and northeast South Dakota and western Minnesota, however some drier
air will mix down in central South Dakota this afternoon. Dry
conditions persist through mid afternoon Friday, with another day of
high heat and humidity, before thunderstorms developing along a
front fire off and then shift east.

Afternoon humidity will drop down to around 25 to 35 percent across
portions of central and north central South Dakota, while the
northeast of the state will see afternoon humidity between 35 and 55
percent.
