...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM MDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN DE BACA AND CENTRAL GUADALUPE COUNTIES...

At 358 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles southwest
of Yeso, or 27 miles west of Fort Sumner, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
         to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Yeso.

This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 292 and 316.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Accumulations of hail on roads can create very slick and hazardous
driving conditions.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for a portion of
east central New Mexico.
