The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Union County in northeastern New Mexico...

* Until 1015 PM MDT.

* At 844 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 39 miles north of
  Seneca, or 47 miles northeast of Des Moines, moving south at 10
  mph.

  THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR 5 MILES EAST OF KIM, COLORADO.

  HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
           Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
           siding, and vehicles.

* Locations impacted include...
  Moses.

This storm is likely producing a tornado in Colorado.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter now inside an interior room on the lowest floor of a
well-built structure. This storm is capable of producing destructive
hail and widespread damaging winds.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
