* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northeastern Torrance County in central New Mexico...
  West Central Guadalupe County in east central New Mexico...

* Until 400 AM MDT.

* At 315 AM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles
  northeast of Encino, or 16 miles northwest of Vaughn, moving
  southwest at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
           damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Encino.

This includes Highway 285 between Mile Markers 224 and 230.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
