  Northeastern McKinley County in west central New Mexico...

* Until 315 PM MDT.

* At 233 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Chaco
  Canyon, or 25 miles north of Crownpoint, moving north at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

* Locations impacted include...
  Chaco Canyon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing large hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
