...ARCTIC COLD AND WINTER WEATHER IS BRINGING MINOR IMPACTS TO
UNION AND HARDING COUNTY...

The combination of bitter cold Arctic air and light to moderate
snow is bringing minor impacts into parts of Union County this
morning. Slick and icy roads combined with low visibility under a
mile will make for hazardous travel conditions along U.S. Highways
64/87 and 56. This is likely to extend into northern portions of
Harding County later this morning. Conditions are expected to
improve this afternoon after 12pm to 1pm MST as snow is forecast
to end. Bitter cold temperatures in the single-digits to near 10F
and wind chills below zero will persist all day however.

Please consider delaying travel. If you must travel, bring a
winter travel kit in case of a breakdown. For the latest road
conditions, dial 511 or 1.800.432.4269, or visit www.nmroads.com.
