* WHAT...West winds 35 to 50 mph with gusts up to 75 mph possible.

* WHERE...South Central Mountains and Southwest Chaves County.

* WHEN...From Thursday evening through Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
  Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially
  for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Areas of blowing dust can cause hazardous
  travel conditions.
