.DISCUSSION...

Gusty virga showers and dry thunderstorms are forecast over surrounding
mountains this afternoon, and there is a 10-20% chance that gusty
virga showers will move through the burn area. Cell motion will be
toward the east and east northeast at speeds around 10 mph. From 6-8
pm this evening, a couple of trusted high resolution models suggest a
thunderstorm gust front will move through the burn area with
southeast winds gusting from 15 to 25 mph. Otherwise, light winds are
forecast with very low humidities and high temperatures around 12
degrees above the 30-year average today and Friday.

                    gusty virga showers in the afternoon.

                    the afternoon. Erratic wind gusts up to
                    50 mph near virga showers.
