.DISCUSSION...
Poor ventilation rates for the next few mornings, with
conditions improving to fair during the afternoons. Skies have already
cleared around the area this morning with, but scattered showers
this afternoon could create some gusty and erratic outflows near the
fire. An approaching system from the west will bring increased chances
of precipitation on Thursday, mainly for areas along the central mountain
chain and east of the burn area. Wind during the period look to remain
light and favorable for burning. A northerly drainage wind will develop
overnight, picking up wind speeds slightly. A backdoor front looks to
shift winds from the east at the end of the period on Thursday night,
but winds should still be fairly light at 5 to 10 mph.
