Considerably drier this afternoon compared to recent days as dry
and breezy northwesterlies reach the fire location. Gusts to 15 to
20 mph will be possible at the fire location at times b/w 2pm to
7pm. Humidity recovery tonight into Saturday morning will be near
fair. Winds will be light and variable Saturday as high pressure
builds over the region allowing highs at the fire location to rise
to the upper 90s. East winds pushing thru the gaps of the Sandia
and Manzano Mountains is expected Saturday night into Sunday
morning. Peak gusts of 15 to 25 mph will be possible from this.
