.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast to develop over
the central mountains of New Mexico this afternoon with a couple
coming very close to the burn area. Prevailing breezes will tend to
be light from the south southeast, but any nearby or passing storm
will create abrupt and erratic wind gusts. Storm chances increase
on Thursday as an upper level disturbance arrives. Hotter and drier
weather is still forecast for the Fourth of July and into Saturday.

Sky/weather.........Partly cloudy. Scattered rain showers and
                    isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. Any
                    thunderstorms will move very slowly and
                    erratically at less than 5 mph.
Chance of Pcpn......30 percent.
Max Temperature.....86-90.
Min Humidity........31-35 percent.
20 Foot Winds.......Light and variable winds in the morning will
                    become south southeast 5 to 10 mph in the
                    afternoon. Gusty and erratic winds expected
                    near thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Transport winds.....South 8 knots.
Max Vent Rate.......Good/72000 knot-ft at 1800 local.
