.DISCUSSION...

As a ridge of high pressure crosses today and Saturday, light winds,
poor ventilation, and a high temperature around 8 degrees above the
1991-2020 average are forecast. A light southwesterly breeze is
forecast Saturday afternoon. This breeze will probably strengthen a
few knots on Sunday, then shift out of the west with the passage of a
Pacific cold front Sunday evening, but ventilation probably will not
climb out of the "Poor" category. Poor ventilation remains in the
forecast through at least Thursday. After a critically low humidity
today, the humidity will climb a few percent Saturday, then a few
more on Sunday.
