.DISCUSSION...
A notably wetter pattern is expected today as a storm system crosses
the region. Please be alert to variable wind directions, especially
in the morning hours as the wildfire will be within a transition zone
between the canyon winds and westerly winds associated with the front.
There will be periods of rain showers throughout the day, which could
mix with snow during the morning hours. An isolated thunderstorm will
also be possible, with the probability in that occurrence being 15%.
Excellent overnight RH recoveries are expected, and in fact, areas of
freezing fog will develop (40% chance). Drier weather is forecast on
Sunday with a few northwest wind gusts approaching 15 mph during peak
heating.

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy. Numerous rain showers and snow
                    showers in the morning, then rain showers and
                    isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon.

                    mph shifting to the north 7 to 12 mph in the
