Recent widespread precipitation should largely act to mitigate any fire weather concerns over the next couple of days. Drier air continues to work in from Monday through Wednesday, with areas of relative humidity expanding each day, along with breezy to gusty 20-foot winds on Tuesday and Wednesday. This could lead to some locally elevated conditions in the central highlands. More widespread elevated to near-critical conditions are forecast to return by Friday and Saturday of the week ahead, as very warm temperatures, rain-free conditions persist, and winds increase. ................................................................
