502 FNUS55 KABQ 302028 FWFABQ Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North and Central New Mexico National Weather Service Albuquerque NM 228 PM MDT Mon Jun 30 2025 .DISCUSSION... A few dry showers and thunderstorms with gusty winds will continue across western NM through this evening. Elsewhere, storms will be capable of heavy rainfall, hail and gusty and erratic winds. After a strong gap wind in the Rio Grande Valley, moisture will spread westward to the Arizona border. This will set the stage for daily rounds of showers and thunderstorms through Thursday, with more heavy rain possible. Drier air will punch into the state on Friday, limiting precipitation chances significantly. Northeast NM will be favored for a few storms Saturday, but most areas will remain dry. Warmer temperatures will return for the weekend after below normal temperatures much of the week. ................................................................
