Tranquil weather today will give way to increasing southwest breezes Monday and especially Tuesday. Marginally critical fire weather is possible for parts of eastern NM Tuesday. The next weather system will move across the area Wednesday with more clouds, breezy west to northwest winds, cooler temperatures, and perhaps some rain and snow showers across the high terrain. Marginally critical fire weather conditions are possible again across parts of eastern NM. A potent weather system will approach the area Thursday with strong southwest winds, low humidity, and a greater chance for critical conditions. Strong to possibly damaging west winds may occur on Friday but with cooler temperatures and higher humidity for northern and western NM. A few to several inches of snow are possible across the northern and western mountains. There is still potential for critical conditions to persist over parts of eastern NM Friday. ................................................................
