...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM MDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east central New Mexico, including the
  following county, central Guadalupe.

* WHEN...Until 600 AM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 358 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms over Santa Rosa. This will cause urban and
    small stream flooding. Up to 1.25 inches of rain have fallen
    in the past 60 minutes.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.

    Santa Rosa.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
