...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of central New Mexico, including the following
  area, South Central Mountains.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
  in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be
  flooded. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Atmospheric moisture remains very high, and another round of
    scattered-to-numerous showers and thunderstorms will return
    to the Ruidoso area this afternoon until sunset. Recent burn
    scars and locations where the ground is already saturated
    will be especially susceptible to rapid runoff and flash
    flooding today.
