...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE MONDAY
NIGHT...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast New Mexico,
  including the following areas, in north central New Mexico, East
  Slopes Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Southern Sangre de Cristo
  Mountains. In northeast New Mexico, Eastern San Miguel County, Far
  Northeast Highlands, Harding County and Northeast Highlands. This
  includes the Hermits Peak-Calf Canyon wildfire burn scar area.

* WHEN...From Monday afternoon through late Monday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water
  crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Atmospheric moisture will increase even more into Monday as a
    weak frontal boundary moves in from the northeast. Numerous
    storms capable of very heavy rainfall rates will develop,
    increasing the risk of excessive runoff and flash flooding.
    The Hermits Peak-Calf Canyon wildfire burn scar area will be
    especially vulnerable to flash flooding.
