...WIND GUSTS EXCEEDING 35 KNOTS CONTINUE TO 8 PM TODAY...

Southwest wind gusts reaching 35 knots at the Sunport will
continue through the rest of this afternoon and early evening.
Wind gusts are expected to peak at speeds up to 40 knots between 3
PM and 7 PM as a Pacific cold front switches the wind direction
out of the west and northwest. The strong wind gusts will decrease
below 35 knots around 8 PM.
