...EAST CANYON WINDS GUSTING ABOVE 35 KNOTS UNTIL SUNSET...

Strong east canyon winds have developed in the wake of a
thunderstorm over the eastern portions of Albuquerque. Gusts
between 40 and 48 kt will continue through 6pm MDT, with gusts
between 35 and 40 kt potentially persisting through 8pm MDT. East
winds will slowly decrease thereafter.
