207 WOXX20 KWNP 301901 WATA20 Space Weather Message Code: WATA20 Serial Number: 1051 Issue Time: 2025 Jun 30 1856 UTC WATCH: Geomagnetic Storm Category G1 Predicted Highest Storm Level Predicted by Day: Jul 01: None (Below G1) Jul 02: G1 (Minor) Jul 03: G1 (Minor) THIS SUPERSEDES ANY/ALL PRIOR WATCHES IN EFFECT Comment: A CME that left the Sun on 28 June is anticipated to arrive at Earth early to mid UTC day on 02 July and will likely result in G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storming. Lingering CME effects will likely continue into 03 July causing continued, isolated minor storming periods. www.swpc.noaa.gov/noaa-scales-explanation Potential Impacts: Area of impact primarily poleward of 60 degrees Geomagnetic Latitude. Induced Currents - Weak power grid fluctuations can occur. Spacecraft - Minor impact on satellite operations possible.
