EVENING...
...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TO 8 PM CDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...For the Excessive Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions
  with heat index values up to 110. For the Heat Advisory, heat
  index values up to 109 expected.

* WHERE...Muskogee, Craig, Mayes, Nowata, Okmulgee, Rogers, Tulsa,
  Wagoner, Washington OK, and McIntosh Counties.

* WHEN...For the Excessive Heat Warning, until 8 PM CDT this
  evening. For the Heat Advisory, from noon to 8 PM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity
  will create a dangerous situation in which heat related illnesses
  are more likely.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

An Excessive Heat Warning means conditions will accelerate the onset
of heat related illness, which may result in a shorter response time
to potential heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

  For the second Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 107 expected.

* WHERE...In Arkansas, Benton, Carroll, Crawford, Madison,
  Washington AR, Franklin, and Sebastian Counties. In Oklahoma,
  Cherokee, Okfuskee, Sequoyah, Adair, Creek, Delaware, Osage,
  Ottawa, Pawnee, Choctaw, Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore, Pittsburg,
  and Pushmataha Counties.

* WHEN...For the first Heat Advisory, until 8 PM CDT this evening.
  For the second Heat Advisory, from noon to 8 PM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses are possible especially impacting
  those not acclimated to the conditions or those performing
  strenuous activities.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
