At 728 AM, National Weather Service radar detected isolated showers
mainly west of a Tulsa to McAlester line. Showers were heaviest in
Okfuskee and Okmulgee counties in Oklahoma. Movement was to the east
at around 10 mph. The average amount where it rained last hour was
less than one tenth of an inch with maximum amounts of one half to
three quarters of an inch. Coverage, and intensity increased during
the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for this morning, partly
sunny, a chance of showers and thunderstorms with temperatures 67 to
77 degrees and east winds up to 5 mph.
