Temperatures warm well into the 90s to near 100 by Wednesday and Thursday while minimum relative humidity values remain critically low followed by moderate overnight recoveries. High temperatures level off in the upper 80s and 90s for the second half of the week with afternoon breeziness becoming more pronounced. Little to no precipitation is expected aside from an isolated storm or two, mostly during the second half of the week. All of these factors will initiate a quick transition into peak fire weather season as the seasonal drying of fuels accelerate.
