...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT THIS
EVENING FOR LIGHTNING ON DRY FUELS FOR FIRE ZONES 213, 263, AND
279...

* Affected Area...Fire Zone 213 Eastern Portion of
  Shasta/Trinity NF, Fire Zone 263 Southeast Edge Shasta-Trinity
  NF and Western Portions of Tehama-Glenn Unit and Fire Zone 279
  Eastern Mendocino NF.

* Isolated thunderstorms with little to no associated
  precipitation are possible. Lightning strikes may also occur
  outside of main precipitation cores.

* Gusty strong and erratic outflow wind could occur near any
  thunderstorm development.

* Impacts...Lightning can create new fire starts and may combine
  with gusty wind to cause fires to rapidly grow in size and
  intensity.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
