Moderate to fresh easterly winds will prevail today. Expect an increase in tropical moisture across the islands as a tropical wave approaches the islands from the south. Drier air will start to filter into the area tomorrow, however some showers are expected to develop in the afternoon across the interior and western Puerto Rico. Currently, KBDI values continue below the critical threshold. A low fire weather risk continues across the islands because the RH and winds will remain well above threshold criteria.
