...PATCHY DENSE FOG THIS MORNING TO IMPACT TRAVEL...

Pockets of fog, locally dense, has developed from southside
Virginia and the North Carolina Piedmont west to the mountains.
The fog is not expected to become widespread, but there will be
instances of lower visibility through 9am. Those traveling should
allow extra time to get to work or school.
