northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia and west central Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Due to a combination of warm temperatures and increased humidity,
heat index values this afternoon will range from 100 to 104 degrees.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Heat index values on Tuesday will range from 100 to 104 degrees. In
addition, there is a Marginal Risk for Excessive Rainfall on
Wednesday and Thursday as a cold front brings scattered showers and
thunderstorms.
