...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 8 PM
PDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Hot daytime temperatures of 98 to 105 this weekend into
  next week will result in a prolonged period of Moderate to Major
  HeatRisk and heat health impacts for those sensitive or those
  without access to effective cooling.

* WHERE...Northern Washoe County and Western Nevada Basin and Range
  including Pyramid Lake.

* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 8 PM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
  heat events, particularly for those working or participating in
  outdoor activities.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave
children and pets in unattended vehicles.
