...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WAYNE...NORTHEASTERN SAMPSON AND
SOUTHEASTERN JOHNSTON COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM EDT...

At 533 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Walnut Creek, or near Goldsboro, moving northeast
at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Goldsboro, Mount Olive, Walnut Creek, Newton Grove, Seven Springs,
Mar-Mac, Brogden, Cliffs Of The Neuse State Park, Elroy, and
Grantham.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building or vehicle.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm.
