Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
1138 PM MDT Wed Jul 17 2024

.Discussion...

A cooler and wetter pattern will continue through Friday across the
district with daily chances for showers and thunderstorms over the
mountains, spreading off into the southeast plains during the evening
hours. Locally heavy rainfall and strong outflow winds will be possible
with the stronger storms. The cooler than normal weather pattern will
persist into early next week. Thunderstorm chances will remain high
over and near the mountains each day where a continued risk of locally
heavy rainfall will remain each day.

Smoke dispersions will rise into the good to very good range over most
of the district both Thursday and Friday afternoons.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
