...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 11 PM
PDT THURSDAY FOR ABUNDANT LIGHTNING...

.DISCUSSION...Nocturnal showers and embedded thunderstorms are
forecast for the burn site tonight (Wednesday night) into early
Thursday morning. Most likely timing will be 9PM PDT this evening
until 2AM PDT Thursday morning. Another round of afternoon convection
is forecast, but the most robust thunderstorms are expected east of the
Cascade crest Thursday afternoon. Quiet weather returns Friday with
the return of shower and thunderstorm chances for Saturday. Uncertainty
in forecast details grow by Sunday, but confidence is very high (95-100%)
that an upper-level closed low will linger in the vicinity of the PacNW
through the weekend and into early next week.

                    rain showers and thunderstorms through the day.
