Missouri...Illinois...

  Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau affecting Scott, Perry, Union,
   Jackson, Cape Girardeau and Alexander Counties.

.The Mississippi Rive at Cape Girardeau will continue to fall to
below flood stage by Thursday Morning.

For the Mississippi River...including Cape Girardeau, Thebes,
Hickman, New Madrid...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

  - At 10:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 33.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:30 AM CDT Tuesday was 34.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Thursday morning and continue falling to 28.6 feet
    Friday, July 26.
  - Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
