This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest
Iowa...west central Iowa...east central Nebraska...northeast
Nebraska and southeast Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Dangerous heat continues today with heat index readings of 100 to
110+ degrees likely. A Heat Advisory and an Excessive Heat
Warning are in effect for much of southeastern Nebraska into Iowa.

There is a 20 to 30 percent chance of storms near and east of the
Missouri River this afternoon and evening. A few could be strong
to severe, with the highest threat from 5 PM to 8 PM. Damaging
winds and quarter-sized hail are the primary threats, but a brief
tornado cannot be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A few strong storms capable of hail and gusty winds will be
possible Tuesday afternoon and evening, with the highest potential
in northeast Nebraska.
