A Heat Advisory and an Excessive Heat Warning are in effect for much of southeastern Nebraska into Iowa. There is a 20 to 30 percent chance of storms near and east of the Missouri River this afternoon and evening. A few could be strong to severe, with the highest threat from 5 PM to 8 PM. Damaging winds and quarter-sized hail are the primary threats, but a brief tornado cannot be ruled out. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday A few strong storms capable of hail and gusty winds will be possible Tuesday afternoon and evening, with the highest potential in northeast Nebraska. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
