New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

The National Weather Service is accepting public comments until
July 29 2024 on a proposal to replace feet with meters when
describing seas in a variety of National Marine Center text
and graphical products for the Offshore and High Seas Areas

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A cold front will approach
from the W early today, and then stall along the coast or just
offshore by tonight before weakening Mon. Otherwise, a high
pressure ridge will prevail to the SE of the region into Thu
night. Another weak cold front will approach the coast from the
W Tue night into early Wed, before stalling near the coast later
Wed, and then returning N as a warm front Wed night into Thu. A
third cold front will approach the region from the W later Thu
and Thu night.
