New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

The National Weather Service is accepting public comments until
July 29 2024 on a proposal to replace feet with meters when
describing seas in a variety of National Marine Center text
and graphical products for the Offshore and High Seas Areas

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A weak warm front will lift N
across the Gulf of Maine today, then become stationary across
Maine tonight through Wed. Another warm front will lift N into
the waters late tonight and Tue. The front will become nearly
stationary across the waters Tue night through Thu with a weak
area of low pressure riding E along the front Tue into Tue night.
 The front will lift NE across the Gulf of Maine as a warm front
on Thu. A cold front will move SE across the waters Thu night,
then settle SE of the waters Fri and Fri night as weak high
pressure builds across the area.

Gulf of Maine to the Hague Line

.TODAY...NE winds less than 10 kt, becoming variable, then,
becoming S. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers with vsby 1 nm or less.
.TUE...S to SE winds 5 to 15 kt, becoming E. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
Scattered showers with vsby 1 nm or less.
.TUE NIGHT...E winds less than 10 kt, becoming variable. Seas
3 to 5 ft.
.WED...SE winds 5 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
.WED NIGHT...SE winds less than 10 kt, becoming variable. Seas
